We like to make a stop at Wacko's Soap Plant every few months to check out their goodies. Today we got curious about a new shop across the street called Hotel deVille Eyewear and to our surprise, they sell vintage frames! The interior design of this place is amazing and both the boyfriend and I made a very happy purchase.
Then we headed on over to Wacko's. If you have never been, please allow me to give you a tour:

Edith Piaf: The Little Sparrow
Look at her. Move with her. Feel with her. Ache with her. Love with her. With her...with her...with her.

Nikon d90
So...I splurged. I went out and bought myself a graduation present unlike anything I have ever bought myself before. Instead of putting money away like I should have done, or spending it on a vacation in Paris like I've been wishing to do for many years now, I spent my tuition reimbursement cash on a Nikon d90 dslr. Needless to say, I am over the moon about it, and lucky you: you get to witness my progress.

Art in the Streets
The Queen Mary
Our annual meeting at the Queen Mary turned out to be the best one yet. Never a dull moment and never enough sunblock. I have found at least one new freckle on my cheek. I shall name him Oscar.

Pattie Boyd: THE MUSE
The ultimate compliment to any woman, in my opinion, is being acknowledged as the muse for a magnificent work of art. Like the traditional muses of Greek myth, Pattie Boyd instilled inspiration within two of Rock and Roll's greatest heroes: George Harrison and Eric Clapton. She was the influence behind the songs "Something" and "Layla," respectively. Her presence became a guiding light for the creativity that Harrison kept hidden in the dark, and even though she broke his heart, this Beatles gal loves her.
